Andrée-Anne Fortin, an intuitive painter, has always explored the nuances of emotions through colors and textures. Born in Quebec City in 1980, she developed a passion for art and design at a very young age, which led her to study visual arts at CEGEP, then to a Bachelor of Visual Arts with a specialization in Graphic Communication at Université Laval.

Her art is deeply rooted in an intuitive and emotional approach. Each canvas is a free exploration where shapes, materials and colors dance together to translate raw and universal emotions. Andrée-Anne draws her inspiration from everyday moments, human connections and the natural forces that surround her.

Her practice is marked by the use of acrylics and various tools such as painting knives and pipettes. These techniques allow her to play with textures and create works that are both powerful and balanced. For her, each color tells a story, each movement expresses a feeling.

Andrée-Anne continues to evolve in her art, constantly seeking to capture the essence of the moment and invite the viewer on an inner journey. Her unique and vibrant creations reflect her vision: that of an art that connects, moves and inspires.
